Janice Lowe joined the Lykes Team as an Account Executive in May of 2013 specializing in various commercial insurance risks, offering her insurance expertise and dedicated service.
Janice Lowe hails from West Islip, New York, where she graduated high school in 1981 and attained her Associates Degree in Information Technology in 1984. But, a destiny in Insurance called and she was recruited as an Insurance Broker in Garden City, New York. She had found her mission.
Family values brought Janice to Florida in 1992, where she quickly traded an ice scraper and a set of snow boots for a brief case and a Rolodex at a Bonita Springs yard sale (Janice demonstrated the ice scraper’s effectiveness on love bug residue, the snow boots are believed to have promulgated a fashion trend resulting in Uggs®).
In a rewarding and versatile range of positions, Janice has functioned variously as a Customer Service Representative, Account Manager, Account Executive and a Producer/Agent. Janice attained her Agents 220 Property and Casualty License in 1993 and her Agents 218 Life, Health and Annuity License in 1995.
Janice is a people person, eager to listen to their problems and proactively resolve them. In keeping with this mindset, Janice established her own independent agency in 2004, emphasizing Life and Health Insurance solutions for a wide variety of businesses, individuals and their families.
Janice reapplied herself to the Property and Casualty Insurance field in 2011, always looking for the next challenge. She is currently pursuing her CPIA and CIC designations. She enjoys Lykes Insurance for the professional atmosphere engendered there.
In her off-moments, Janice enjoys being a soccer mom and band mom to her two children. Some time in the gym and the occasional backpacking trip round out her time. Janice has a collection of true crime books, but she has not had time to touch one in several years.
